Introduction

The commercial organisation provides risk analysis services for various online business platforms. In real time, there are dashboards for security and privacy gaps, while continuously monitoring the internal and external risks of the business. The customer can only access the purchased items (security analysis reports and dashboards) through the Shopify login page, using the personal credentials. High process security is required.

The Challenge

There are many sources of data used as a basis for risk analysis. This data needs to be structured and filtered for the correct reporting in real-time mode. The specific UI is preferred for the display of the dashboards and the customer's request for different activities. In addition, the single sign-in and sign-out processes need to be implemented. As for the customer, they only can use the login form in Shopify, and the redirection to the personal app will be done automatically to preview the personalized reports and dashboards.

Implementation

After gathering the technical requirements and the UI design template, the following stack was proposed for development:

SAML was used to implement the single sign-in and sign-out processes. The MiniOrange app for Shopify was also activated for this task.

Besides, the database was built for storing customers' data (personal data, purchase history, and so on). The admin panel was developed fo the managing of expiration data to access the app and levels of permissions setting up.

Results

Our customer has got a platform for their customers convenient access. This service has many advantages (easy to maintain, simple to access, clear UI/UX and many others). New reports and dashboards can be easily added and improved because of the system's flexibility. A commercial organization needed to transfer their data from one CRM (AMO CRM) to ZOHO CRM with all automations and workflows.

The Challenge

The organization was using a lot of auto-workflows in different modules like Leads, Contacts, Deals, etc. They needed to use the same workflows in the new CRM with some additional features and the possibility to change some variables themselves.

Implementation & results

Create a big general workflow for all modules and break them into small blueprints with custom automations for any case.
Widgets, deluge functions, workflows, and a few custom synchronizations with third-party services were included.

CRMOZ has to create a custom Quote Widget for teambuilding and event company starting from creation based on the order and ending with sending a completed Quote to a customer.

Introduction

The Client is an event company that organizes a big variety of teambuilding and other events, their request was to create a multi-step tool that will allow them to work with Quote starting from creation based on the order and ending with sending a completed Quote to a customer.

The Challenge

The desired process of the Quote has many steps, details, and a lot of custom logic not included in the default Zoho CRM, also it has to be highly customizable. The idea is to create a Quote based on the already existing order or a blank one, group products by sections, edit them and add new ones, being able to control the time and location of events (products), generate a PDF document using different templates, compose an email with PDF attached using templates and send the result to the customer.

Implementation & results

The CRMOZ team created a multi-step widget for the creation of a Quote from the Deal record.
The logic of this widget includes not only the creation of a new record, but also the generation of the PDF file with a business offer for the client, email generation and sending, and also the analog of Zoho Sign.
All functionality is in one place. To implement it, we were using integration with the server, PHP Laravel framework, and Deluge functions.
The process of creating and sending a Quote became much more automated and easier for the users who are working with Zoho CRM daily, which reduced the possibility of a human mistake and much shorter the time needed to create and send business offers to the customer.
As a result, the productivity of the team increased, and customer’s waiting time decreased which lead to better performance of the whole organization.

The Challenge

The Initial client request was about fully automated email deliveries for customers and referral partners. But during the development process, the client came up with the set of restrictions and conditionals that assist email deliveries. Also, clients requested additional functionality related to manual email sending for managers and referral partners.

Implementation & results

Our solution consisted of two parts , front-end widget embedded in ZohoCRM and back-end part for data processing. We primarily understood that widget should be created as SPA to remove reloading during changing of pages. Also we knew that sending several emails from stages will create a bunch of requests for back-end. Therefore we needed logic for checking conditional on the front-end side.
The perfect technology to solve these issues is Vue.js . It can help in fast creation of SPA. It can easily handle lots of conditional due to incorporated logic inside of components. And also Vue.js applications could be easily supported in the future due to permanent updates of the framework.
Our match for back-end part is Laravel. We developed a complicated scheduling system for emails that could handle all rules provided by our client. We connected Laravel to ZohoCRM with use of PHP SDK which significantly increases speed of data retrieval.
Pre-development analysis of client's request hugely assisted us on selecting correct technologies for implementation of client's needs.
With use of Vue.js for widget development and Laravel for email scheduling and data processing our solution could scale and emerge with client's business. Application of the aforementioned technologies will help in futher system development and support of the project after the finish of active development stage.

Migration from Hubspot to Zoho One

We will tell you a little about a company that has been cooperating with us for more than a year. Which we migrated from another CRM to the Zoho One.

The main reason for the transition was the fact that the company was scaling and the existing functionality did not meet the requirements and criteria that the customer was interested in.

About the requirements:

Using the system for 300 employees with varying degrees of rights for each position.
The average number of orders from 1000 per day - control, accounting and updating of data.
Timeline, which makes it possible to keep track of all the changes that have been made and who made them.
Creation of a live widget in the CRM, which would make it possible for users to work in one place, without moving around and without wasting time searching for the necessary information through the modules.

These were the initial requirements, but, as they say, you get used to good things quickly.

First case

For a year of active development and implementation of various integrations, we managed to create everything in one place".

There are two widgets in the CRM that are used by multiple departments:

For example, sales and admins work in the Global widget. We built and configured the system in such a way that they, being on the same form, perform all tasks at once:

creating a deal account for a client (automation creates a deal in the deal module)
if necessary, create a client (automation creates in the customer module)
automated selection of necessary goods for the client based on the main criteria (CRM has three warehouses, two linked sites, and an eBay warehouse).
we considered the possibility of changing the configuration of the goods is taken into account (this is done by a separate department, but the mark and calculation are in the process of creating a transaction)
the way and method of delivery are calculated automatically (this became possible due to integration with delivery services)
the seller announces the final cost for the client and, with his consent, payment is made (this opportunity appeared due to integration with several payment systems)
automation is also set up to notify customers by email or fax, at each important stage of the process (order preparation, additional service, picking, sending, and others)

Results

Thanks to integrations and various automations, the user completes a large process in the shortest possible time and is almost error-free while using just one widget.

For them, we have created a widget in the CRM, that allows you to use the phone, and not run all the time on the computer. Here is one of the cases.

An order has arrived at the warehouse, and the worker sees it through the phone. (Widget interface adjusted for display on devices
Scan a barcode with a phone camera or a connected scanner (the system determines whether the employee correctly took the goods or issues an error).
If the system recognizes this product as correct, the option to pack becomes available to the worker.
He can print a declaration that has already been created (by the seller during the order creation process)

Our client’s company has moved on to Zoho One, utilizing Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, Zoho Analytics, and Zoho Creator. They have 23 users in total.

Introduction

Our client’s company was an early adopter of Zoho and had migrated to Zoho two years prior to choosing CRMOZ. Although they had managed to maintain data in Zoho and build useful customizations, they had been unable to make the Zoho Books functionality work properly. Consequently, the employees had problems using it, and the system required urgent assistance.

The Challenge

Our client’s company was interested in creating an environment of constant growth by knowing the margin value for each item and each sales order. They were also experiencing problems with applying VAT (value added tax) to the calculation. This also made the calculation of the margin values inaccurate.

In order to keep track of and see businesses growth by customers, salespersons, and items, it was necessary to create reports in the Analytics dashboard to keep the information about them as concise as possible.

The dispatch department of the business was having issues understanding which orders they had to reorder since part of them were missing.

In order to keep things simple and automatic for package delivery, instead of using manual signing of packages, there was an idea to create the Creator app with a signature component that will let their drivers track and sign the packages needed for delivery every day.

Implementation & results

Our client’s company chose the milestone approach. That way, improvements could be tracked easily and planned out over a long period of time.
In order to make the margin calculation possible, it was important to have each parameter of the calculation in check following the specified formulas, as well as maintain clearance of what part of the system is used in order to calculate the margin correctly for each sales order and each item in the sales order.
Making the correct calculation was possible only through the creation of an additional module of beta functionality, yet it provided the needed solution that was previously impossible without the help of CRMOZ.
This gave an understanding that the VAT should be applied for proper calculation as well, which only worked for the UK version of the Books.
The business reporting needed advanced SQL skills, which CRMOZ could supply. After ensuring that the margin calculation worked as intended, a dashboard with reports was created to show the business's growth on a daily basis.
Additionally was built a report that required fast solution for the dispatch department that would run every morning to see which items need reordering. These are items that they sell often, from accessories through phones to favorite MacBooks.
To make the delivery of packages for businesses drivers more convenient, it was necessary to know what data could be retrieved from packages through an API call in Books. This, along with the development of a scheme to ensure a clear understanding of implementation, resulted in a Creator app that is simple to use for drivers on a daily basis.

Multi-step widget for creation of Quote from the Deal record. All functionality in one place.
Timeline widget: a graphic interactive widget that displays the record's status, with all statuses pictured on a line so the user can see how long the record was in each status and what status needs to be applied to the record during the process. Users can change the status just by clicking on its name.
With the saved history of these changes, change the vendor widget.

Integrations:

Zoho CRM - Zoho Books provide real-time, two-sided sync for Invoices and credit notes.
Google Maps is another custom widget that uses the Google API to calculate distance and time between two locations.

Plugin:

To implement the synchronization of the data between WordPress and WooCommerce CRMOZ created a widget using the PHP programming language and WordPress standard libraries.
